A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
Charge Kid is a game where each jump is a puzzle, described by some players as some kind of child between Portal and Super Meat Boy. You have limited resources to make each jump, and finding out how to use them in order to make it is a puzzle. Experimentation, creativity, and some platforming precision will be necessary.
It started as a submission for gmtk2019 game jam, and you can play that first version here for free. The game has changed a lot since then!
What to expect:
- Challenging gameplay.
- Tight controls and fluid movement.
- Puzzles with multiple solutions.
Charge Kid is open source!
You can access the repo here. The game has the MIT license, and all its assets are under the CC-0 license. It was also made with the Godot engine. Feel free to read the code and tinker around with it!
Out on Steam!
The game is also out on Steam, with achievements and cloud saving support! You can buy the game there if you want to support us there as well!
